Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park is the one of the last standing lowland forests of Sumatra, home of incredible plant and animal kingdom including Sumatran tigers and rhinoceros, and also the biggest flower on earth: Rafflesia Arnoldii. It offers adventure in the rivers and waterfalls, hills with incredible view into Semangka Bay as well as elephant patrol walk experience throughout the sandy white beach overlooking at the hindian ocean.

Maybe March is the season of Raflessia bloom in Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park. I was returning back from Pulau Pisang and drop in Bukit Barisan. fortunately this raflesia bloom.

I had a really beautiful walk with my friends trough virgin jungle to a huge waterfall in mits of the lusch green of the park. If you like the feel of being inside purest nature, this is the place to go.
