Berbak National Park ( Berbak ) is the largest area of swamp forest conservation in Southeast Asia unspoiled by human exploitation. Berbak uniqueness is the interesting combination between the peat swamp forest and the freshwater swamp forest that stretched wide on the eastern coast of Sumatra. Berbak National Park is not only nationally protected, but it is also protected internationally as it is established as the International Wetlands in RAMSAR Convension in 1992.
